Fifth Annual Interfaith Pride Service

This year we are celebrating our 5th year of this service and its the 50th Anniversary of Stonewall NY. Our theme this year is, ‘Looking Back, Loving Forward’. Our guest speaker is Scott Robbe. Scott is an acclaimed theater, film and television producer and social activist. Mr. Robbe is famous for launching ‘Queer Eye for the Straight Guy’ and for shutting down the New York Stock Exchange with 4 other members of the infamous group called, ACTup in 1990. Some of Scott’s work today is producer and director of the Vanilla Ice home shows and work on movies with Matthew Shepard and soon Vince Lombardi movie. Ben Weger, musical director at Allendale UMC, and member of the transgender community, will be introducing our Charity – Metro Center – Transgender group. Charlie Crist group will be presenting us with a Congressional Record. We are still talking to other groups to be with us like Jennifer Webb an Equality Florida.

We will begin at 6:00 pm at Metro Center and walk to King of Peace. Service at King of PeaceMCC on 5th Ave N. on Thursday, June 20th, 2019 at 7:00 pm.
